ICL - Implantable Contact Lens
Implantable Contact Lens Also known as a Phakic IOL because the eye's natural lens remains in place, unlike other implantable lenses. Think of this option as a contact lens inserted inside the eye instead of worn on the outside of the eye. The best patients for this option are between 21 and 45, with moderate to severe nearsightedness. One big advantage of this procedure is that these lenses can be exchanged if your prescription changes. Our surgeons are trained to use the Visian ICL.
